It's that time again...

I hate grocery shopping. Absolutely hate it.

It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't care about prices, but I simply can't NOT compare prices and clip coupons to keep more money in my pocket. It just takes forever for me to sit down and plan meals along with the whole price matching/coupon cutting, and then on top of that go out to actually get what we need. I would much rather spend all that time scrapbooking.

So basically what I'm saying is that if anyone would like to volunteer to come and do all of that for me, that would be great. Thanks. :)

  1. Try couponmom.com They have a bunch of coupons to print and also print the sales. I simplify things by going through what's on sale and making Walmart price match. Keep a running list of the usuals and circle or whatever when you need them. It does get better! Not easier, just better.

  2. Ugh, I know! The menu planning part I'm terrible at. I suppose it's an exercise in discipline. Especially considering our VERY disciplined budget.

  3. Just thought I'd throw a couple websites out for you too:
Alice.com is an online "shop" where you can get most of your paper supplies and other pantry and non-perishable items, they automatically find whatever coupons can be applied to your items and add them, plus shipping is always free and they come right to you!
Second, as for the menu planning I know Dave Ramsey suggests the site e-mealz.com, you have to pay a small monthly fee I think, but then they give you a menu, and you can specify it for how many people and where you shop I believe. (I'm such a picky eater that I never actually tried this, but just checked it out)
Well good luck, and I hope all is going well for you guys. FYI - we are moving back to Sutherland, so if you ever visit that way again you should let us know! Love and miss you both!
